Glover Park Church is a small, walkable church, and you're invited.
Our hope is that we will be a community where we can find and follow Jesus together as neighbors. We do our very best to simply center Jesus in ways that are good news to Glover Park.
1st Sunday Dinner Church
Every month we have Dinner Church and are reminded of 3 things:
God is love, so it's all about love.
Jesus is God, so we follow Jesus.
God is up to something, so we pay attention.
Dinner Church Details
Each month we'll remember together the good things God has done, is doing, and will do through a meal, song, bible stories, prayers, and other common liturgical practices.
We meet on the 1st Sunday of the month.
September 17 (rain date): The Beginning, a Perfect Home (Genesis 1-2) @ Stoddert amphitheater 5-6pm. Summer Sandwiches.
October 1: The Terrible Lie (Genesis 3) @ Stoddert ampitheater 5-6pm. Pizza.
November 5: Good Shepherd (Psalm 23) @Clark's Home 5-6:30pm. Friends-giving.
December 3: Christmas, He's Here! (Luke 1-2) @Stoddert Cafe. 5-6pm. Italian.
January 7: A Young Girl and an Old Lady (Luke 8) @Stoddert Cafe. Chili Cook-Off.
February 4: Jesus Teaches us His Prayer (Matthew 6) @Stoddert Cafe. 5-6pm. Breads & Spreads.
March 3: Running Away (Luke 15) @TBA 5-6pm. Mac n Cheese.
*March 30: Saturday Easter Service & Egg Hunt (John 20) @ 42nd & Edmonds 11-11:30am. Candy.
April 7: God's Wonderful Surprise (Matthew 28) @ Stoddert Ampitheater 5-6pm. Salad Bar.
May 5: A New Way to See (Acts 9) @ Stoddert Ampitheater 5-6pm. Mexican.
June 2: A Dream of Heaven (Revelation 21) @ Stoddert Ampitheater 5-6pm. Cookout.
